The decision to expel of the Saudi Princes having authorizations to hunt bustard through some Saharan regions in the south of Algeria, is as result of the disagreement arising between high-ranking officials,

a well-informed source said, adding that some of these officials are in favour of granting Saudi Princes authorizations allowing them to hunt bustard, however, other are against such a procedure.

So the decision allowing the Saudi Princes back hunting bustard in the Algerian Sahara, has been taken under the pressure of a key personality close to the President of Republic, Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika. But the Government reaction came in the aftermath of local elect officials through several provinces, who expressed their opposition to the Gulf Princes’ favourite leisure. Then, the decision of expelling Gulf Princes is justified by the public uproar, consequentially; the Presidency has been obliged to withdraw the bustard hunting authorization granted few weeks ago.
According to a source close to the President has promised a Saudi Prince, during a meting at a luxury hotel in Paris, few months ago, to work to convince the President, in view of allowing Gulf Princes, to resume their bustard hunting in Algeria.
Meanwhile, high-ranking officials have been behind the protests launched against Gulf Princes through numerous provinces, in view of justifying the decision withdrawing the authorization allowing them hunting bustard, which is considered as a species threaten of extinction.
